The WNY Democrats for Progress (formerly known as the New Democrats of Western New York) is an organization dedicated to advancing a 21st Century Progressive Agenda for the Buffalo-Niagara Region by electing good Democratic candidates through the use of innovative modern means combined with proven grassroots methods of the past.

Our membership includes elected officials, Democratic activists and campaign consultants with a proven track record of being able to deliver victories in important and difficult races.


The Western New York Democrats for Progress will support Democratic candidates who:

  • Represent New Leadership
  • Support Progressive Ideals
  • Are Dedicated to Our Community
  • Embrace New Ways of Campaigning
  • Have New Ideas, Not Just an Ideology

The Western New York Democrats for Progress will not just assist candidates with traditional volunteer and grassroots efforts (though we do that too), but will go beyond that by offering candidates we support the best tools of today to compete effectively in a 21st Century campaign.
